SECON 2005 Paper Submission Guidelines

The conference will only consider original papers for review that have not been previously published or are not currently under review by another conference or journal. The submissions will be reviewed for technical merits and relevance to the conference. Accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings by the IEEE.

Preparing Your Manuscript:
Manuscripts must be formatted according to the IEEE double-column standard format, except the font size, which must be 11pt. Authors should use only standard fonts, i.e., Times Roman, Courier, Symbol, and Helvetica, or their equivalent. The maximum length of the manuscripts for full papers is 12 pages.

All papers must be submitted in PDF (Portable Document Format). Postscript and MSWord files should be converted to PDF before submission.

The IEEE Latex and Microsoft Word style files and the related information can be obtained from the IEEE Site. Please use font size of 11pt and do not exceed the page length limits.

Submission Instructions:
Paper submission is managed by the EDAS system. If you do not have an EDAS account, please create one first. To submit a paper to SECON 2005, please first register your paper with the EDAS system. Please indicate the appropriate "Topics Keywords" when registering your paper. Upon successful registration, you will receive instructions for uploading your paper to the system. Note that paper registration is due April 1, 2005 by 5pm EST.

Papers that have been improperly submitted or improperly formatted by the submission date will not be considered. To avoid last minute problems, authors are advised to submit their papers well before the deadline. Thank you for your understanding.
